Helen Griffiths Dressage Coach > Rates and Reviews

Training Rates and Arrangements

Helen Griffiths has held various dressage clinics in the area, including at Bicton Arena and for the Solent Riding Club at Curdridge, where they say of Helen 'Helen has been our main instructor at our Stockland Lovell camp for the last 7 years. She is not only a BD judge and Trainer for the South West BYRDS but a great motivator and is full of enthusiasm and insight into how to get the most out of our horses and riding.'

Helen prefers to work at a location for a day where she can teach at least 4 lessons during the day.  Most lessons would be on a one to one basis but Helen is happy if 2 people want to share a lesson to split the cost between them.  Helen can also teach groups, as she does with the Solent Riding Club at Stockland Lovell.

'I can teach at any level and would hope that everyone finishes the lesson with at least one of the following:

  • a great sense of achievement
  • an understanding of what they need to work on and why
  • an awarenes of what they aspire to
  • and most importantly, that they have enjoyed themselves and progressed.'

Helen is also able to give lessons at her yard at Pleasant Spot Farm, Somerset in her 60m x 20m outdoor arena.

The following rates are a guide but are negotiable for individual circumstances.

Lesson at Pleasant Spot Farm:    45 minutes   £30

Lesson at other Venue (NB.  Minimum 4 separate lessons required over the day to cover travel costs) 45 minutes £42, therefore if 2 people share a lesson then £21 each. No other charges are made currently.

Group Lessons (more than 2 riders), please contact Helen to discuss.

Please  see the Contact Me page to contact Helen for further information and to arrange dates etc.

Jayne Chapman is one of Helen's Clients who is working at British Dressage Meduim level. Helen trains Jayne on each of her 3 horses. Jayne recommends Helen saying 'Training with Helen has been really positive and constructive. Her keen interest, enthusiasm and sense of humour has helped me to progress confidently on three very different horses. I am never worried to say "I don’t undertand!” After every lesson I always leave feeling very positive and with a feeling of progress. I always look forward to the next training session'

'We have used Helen Griffiths for pure dressage, not scarey at all, and a total love, she got our PC team to the National Champs and even better, got our Open team (which my daughter was on) a win.'
